WHITE RABBIT
Project No. 30: Before & After Photos

BEFORE

This South Florida ranch was purchased from the original owners who updated very little since the time the home was built in 1965. The kitchen had been replaced with Home Depot cabinets, but it was walled off from the rest of the living area making it feel like a cave. The bathrooms were original and the paths of travel created by exterior door positions were awkward.

AFTER

The house was gutted with walls in the living area removed to create Restore 818’s signature open concept living area. With the kitchen now bathed in light Janie took the opportunity to use a unique color combination on the cabinetry. The pathway to the backyard and the new pool with sun-shelf was opened with the the back concrete wall of the home cut open to allow for a pair of 8-foot sliders to be installed. In the master bath, the dark dated space became a warm inviting place of daily retreat from the stress of the day.

* Note: Furnishings as shown are a collaboration between Restore 818 and a third party stager.
