A Touch of Beach Boho Design

Beach Boho design doesn’t need to be over the top. We believe bringing that Coastal vibe to your South Florida home means making it fun with an air of sophistication through intentional interior design. That’s what we were going for with this beach villa in Jupiter Florida.

The master bath was kept more refined with the coastal vibe subtly showing by incorporating plenty of natural stone leaning toward “beachy” coastal colors. While the girls bathroom and guest bath gave a looser feel by introducing more color. The goal was to make the rooms fun without locking them into a total Beach Boho vibe.

How STUDIO 818 approaches Beach Boho design

When this client said they wanted wanted their home to be “beachy” and fun but sophisticated at the same time it was a challenge we welcomed. We decided to create a refined base for the rooms and incorporated beach boho design elements.

Beach boho design is great in this situation because it encapsulates the carefree and eclectic spirit of bohemian style with a coastal twist. It blends the relaxed vibes of the beach with the vibrant, free-spirited elements of boho decor. This design aesthetic embraces natural materials, earthy tones, and a mix of patterns and textures to create a laid-back and inviting space. This allows the boho vide to remain subtle and not so “in-your-face.”

With Beach Boho you’ll typically find a harmonious fusion of elements like woven rattan furniture, colorful wall hangings, and wicker accessories. The color palette often revolves around sandy neutrals, ocean blues, and sun-kissed hues, evoking the beach and the sea. Tactile fabrics like linen, jute, and cotton are favored for rugs, cushions, and curtains.

As you can see in this Jupiter Florida villa, beach boho design is very personal. But no matter the twist we believe it should always create a tranquil haven where a relaxed bohemian vibe and an air of sophistication can coexist in perfect harmony.
